I’ve been a board game enthusiast for over 30 years, and a hobbyist software developer for quite a bit less. But I’ve always had the idea of combining these two passions into something creative. That’s when it struck me: what if I could merge a review with a session report? Just answer a few questions and let AI take care of the rest. Now, I know a review like this will never be as detailed as one written by someone who’s played the game 15 times. But honestly, sometimes one playthrough is all you need to share an experience that can help another board game fan decide if it’s for them.

I realize not everyone is going to be on thrilled about using AI to generate reviews. But there are two big reasons why I believe it’s a good idea. First, writing a review is a lot of work, and like many people, I simply don’t have the time to sit down and write detailed reviews for every game I play. So it becomes a choice: a limited review or no review at all. Second, not everybody feels confident enough in their writing-or even their English-to write a review of that board game they really enjoyed and would love to share with others. That’s where AI can help lower the barrier. These are the main reasons why I created this website. And of course, there’s a third reason: I’m just curious to see what’s possible with AI. Can it actually help me bring together both of my hobbies in a meaningful way?

So in the end, this is a bit of a personal experiment-an outlet for my ideas and creativity. I have a ton of other concepts I want to try out on this site, and I’m eager to see where it all leads. It’s my creative playground, and I’m excited to build on it, one idea at a time.
